Rolex

We just returned from London, UK, where we directed the 2009 Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative closing ceremony. This is the fourth time we have handled this event for Rolex, this time in the Royal Opera House.

In 2008 we were involved in the Rolex Awards for Enterprise Program and directed the closing ceremony (conducted in English as well as Arabic) for this event in Dubai, UAE.

Prior to that we handled the bi-annual Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative closing ceremony in the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City several times. That event recognizes major artist/mentors and their protégé's in the fields of Music, Literature, Theater, Visual Arts, Film and Dance. The program consisted of pre-recorded introductions of the participants on film as well as live presentations by the 2007 laureates, their protégé's and the CEO of Rolex SA to the over 450 attendees.

We directed the entire ceremony and cued the lighting, PA and audio playback, video and video playback, prompter and stage managers for the presentations from multiple podiums and screens.
